We're redesigning
music education
you are already a musician
Music lives in you.
Not in a syllabus. Not in a video. It's in the things you want to make, the sounds you can't stop hearing, and the songs only you would write. music_ing exists to help you get them out — with real musicians beside you.

musicing
music_ing began with something our founder, Bworking musicians who've actually played the changes, and every session begins with your ideas, not a lesson plan.Today music_ing brings that model to musicians everywhere: honouring what has always mattered in music learning, while making room for how people actually create today.

music_ing was started by people who've lived both sides of the music education— the teacher and the learner. Here's how it came together, in their words.
Ben was a music teacher, songwriter & artist.
Alex was an experienced creative, new to music.
Together they experienced the power of collaborative learning, and explored the start to
new way to learn music
Ben Meyers
BA (Hons) Songwriting - PGCHE - MA (Hons) Creative & Cultural Entrepreneurship
Ben is a working musician who spent years watching talented players walk away — not from lack of ability, but because lessons stopped feeling like music. Somewhere between the syllabus and the screen, the reason they started playing got lost.
"I wanted the first lesson to feel like the reason you picked up the instrument."

Alex Bodikian
Creative Director - Entrepreneur - Music Lover
Alex co-founded music_ing to turn that vision into something people could actually use. Part builder, part musician, Alex lives in the details of the experience — the flow of a session, the feel of a first connection, the moment an idea clicks.
"The tech should disappear. What's left is you, a mentor, and the music."
The goal is simple: make connection, collaboration and creativity more than words on a page — make them the way every single session actually feels.
